Tottenham Hotspur 3 – 5 Manchester United

If there were ever a game demonstrative of the old adage ‘a game of two halves’ it was this. Tottenham three up at half time and cruising. Against a Man Utd team it was virtually impossible to beat on Championship Manager 00/01. There’s a farily well documented ‘lads, it’s Spurs’ team talk from this era, but apparently the half time team talk for this one was actually very little. Sometimes it’s what you don’t say, I suppose.
