Welcome to Euro 2004, where the first match is also the last one, somehow. If you watched the opening match of this tournament, where Greece beat Portugal 1-2, you would’ve thought at the time that it was a freak occurence. By the end, you knew that it was an inevitability. Greece ruled. They were unstoppable. It was fantastic. Suck it up, everyone.
