Chelsea 2 – 0 Tottenham Hotspur

A couple of things that point to this one being a bit of a foregone conclusion; one – Jose Mourinho’s love of the League Cup and two – Tottenham being Tottenham and generally doing Tottenham things. Admittedly, Spurs won this exact same fixture back in 2008, but you could feel the writing on the wall from the begining here. Nemanja Matić was actually suspended for this final, but in time honoured Chelsea tradition, celebrated with the rest of the squad in full kit. A touch of class.
