If we take Mark Viduka out of the equation, I guess this one goes down as a 0-3 away win. Of course it doesn’t work like that. Leeds were a different beast back in those days and this was a much more even affair than present times. But then we all know what happened next. By 2004 the dream was over and relegation was inevitable. Let’s be honest, if you’re retching £40,000 a week (lots nowadays but astronomic at the start of the century) on Seth Johnson – with respect, a slightly above mediocre Derby County midlfielder – the bottom will fall out at some point. And, you know, it *might* take decades to fix.
