Manchester City 1 – 2 Everton

By 2010, Manchester City were certainly in the swing of the moneytimes. On this brisk December evening, they fielded Vincent Kompany, David Silva, both Tourés and Carlos Tevez. However, the scourge of City at home – Tim Cahill – had other ideas. As did Leighton Baines, who popped up to put the Toffees two to the good within the first twenty minutes. Cahill would be sold the following year, to the bemusment of probably everyone in the universe. Either way, this was the last time Everton would win away to City to date. As comprehensive a victory you could hope for given the circumstances (and personell involved).
