Leicester City 5 – 3 Manchester United

In 2013, Manchester United won the league. Fergie left (finally; he was originally going to do so in 2001) and what followed was…not good. The following season they didn’t even qualify for Europe. Davie Moyes got the boot and Louis van Gaal arrived to discover that it wasn’t as easy as it looked, actually. You can’t say this was the catalyst for them now being a bin fire, but Man Utd being 3-1 up ordinarily meant a win (home or away). At this point, it really didn’t. Leicester – though not the unshakeable juggernaut of 2015/16 yet, were still good for their comeback and took the second half by the scruff of the neck. Tyler Blackett, remember him?! Yeah, I know.
