The honeymoon is well and truly over. Thing is, the line up for the Foxes was basically the same: Fuchs, Huth, Morgan, Albrighton, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Vardy. So what happened? Did Islam Slimani piss on their collective chips or something? Yes, Claudio Ranieri didn’t do particularly well in his second season, and yes, they were hovering just above the relegation when he was sacked, but it was very harsh on a man who had delivered so much for Leicester.
