Crystal Palace 3 – 0 Arsenal

Surprisingly, this was Palace’s first win over Arsenal for 23 years. Even more surprisingly than that, it was their first win over Arsenal at home since 1979 (an almighty 38 years). Which seems weird. Also, they had never scored three goals against Arsenal ever. The Gunners’ line up featured World Cup winners Shkodran Mustafi and Mesut Ôzil, as well as Alexis Sanchez before he went rubbish. So all in all, not a bad Monday for the Eagles.
