Fulham 4 – 2 Brighton

It is, as they say, a game of two halves. At this point in time Brighton had been in the top flight for a couple of years but Fulham had come back after a four year hiatus. Given the traditional unpredictability of the league, even leading at half time means nothing. And this was one of those days. One of those days where a manager just says ‘hey, we’re winning! Whatever!’ at the break and their team loses both their minds and the game. Alas, Fulham would get relegated at the end of the season but to their great credit, Brighton are still with us.
